Decorating our home has become a labor of love for us. So far, our favorite room is decorated with ourliving rooms. This place became the center of our house, next to the room we spend the most time in. We used to paint the traditional and contemporary furniture, wall art, accessories and mix to create an elegant design attractive guest rooms that are still functional and comfortable. We hope that by giving you some ideas of their own living rooms, we encourage creativity and pointed in the right direction to make your room your favorite room.
Paints and varnishes
When we moved into our house, the walls were white. Not bad, certainly versatile, but not us, and certainly not in the furniture and accents. We use our favorite wall color, Sherwin Williams Latte. The room just exploded! When the ink color to complement your furniture and accents, and furniture and accents to complement the color of paint you get. His style began to work for you.
Maybe you live in the water and the sea according to your style. In this case, blue, white, green and yellow can work for you. If you live in the center of the attic, you can see the industry with elements of white and silver. If you are looking for the perfect country look - try some, soft blues, red, brown, and maybe some yellow.
We chose a neutral color scheme for our living room. Jen Brown is the favorite color and I love all colors and color you can mix in a neutral system - such as red, gold, bronze, orange and corn. Then we mix a little darker. After the color was established, we must think about what to put into this wall.
It turns out one of our former home, the walls the same color. It's time to sell, and there is an empty space above the mantle. What's going right in there? Wrought iron?Something black and white? Some professional wall art?
We have the color scheme ... favorite latte, a little red, a little gold ... know the size ...then we saw it framed art and wall decor in Kirkland. The painting thickness perfect ...Color is the right size and looks like it will fit pefectly in the mantle. Sometimes you just go for it.
With all the online resources today, it's really easy to find the parts that go with your color before you even leave home.
Living room lighting
When it comes to adding decorative lights at us, we must find answers to some very important issues.
It has always been our main source of light? For us it is hidden lighting above the mantle. In other words, not much!. We want to separate the area watching TV and reading area? Not really, because it just is not enough space. What kind of lighting we use? Add ceiling fan lights - table lamps - floor lamps? After all, we integrate table and floor lamps with a style somewhere between mission and modern. Believe me, these two colors go together better than you think.
Our room has two centers, fireplace and television in our closet. Unfortunately, during the cabinet fireplace, just because the cable socket. It works well there, but ideally I want to go somewhere different to get an idea of where it works better. It just goes to show that sometimes you have to play the hand you deal with them.
For small rooms, our favorite part is our sofa table. Not behind the sofa, however. We use it as an anchor for a piece of our wall. There are lights at both ends, and filled with photographs of both our families. It's always great conversation starter.
